Philosophy
We believe people physically hold the effects of their stress in their bodies, and no amount of talking about the past releases those emotional blocks. The armor used for defense is developed in childhood, and surfaces in adulthood in the form of psychological and emotional symptoms and the lack of emotional sobriety.
Phase Two Personal Growth...
- Expresses the unexpressed feelings that need to be addressed
- Symbolically meets the client's unmet needs
- Changes faulty life scripts from the past and family-of-origin programming
- Provides emotional re-education
- Teaches ego-state management via self-parenting and transactional analysis. It is an excellent program for boundary development.
Phase Two Personal Growth is not designed for those with the following behaviors or conditions...
- Engaged in active addiction
- Pregnant
- Psychiatrically unstable
- Current psychotic and/or manic episodes
- Borderline personality disorder
