is treatment for mental illness?
Our
mission is dedicated to meeting the needs of adult and geriatric
patients who are struggling with mental health or substance
abuse issues. Our professional staff's goal is to restore
functioning for each patient in the shortest possible time.
Adult
Crisis Stabilization Unit
Upon
admission to the Unit, each patient receives a complete
evaluation performed by a multi-disciplinary treatment team
headed by the attending Psychiatrist, Nurse, Social Worker
and Licensed Professional Counselors. The goal of the Unit
is to facilitate the patient's highest level of functioning
and reintegration into the least restrictive environment.

Signs
And Symptoms
A patient
who demonstrates some of the following behaviors would be
an appropriate referral for our Adult, Senior Care or Chemical
Dependancy Unit.
Adult
Crisis Or Senior Care Units
- Active
Suicidal, Homicidal Threats, plans or attempts within
last 72 hours
- Symptoms/behavior
indicative of need for 24 hour continued monitoring and
assessment of patient's condition
- Significant
weight loss, inability to sleep, or care for self
- Self-mutilation
- Psychotic
depression
- Hallucinations/delusions
- Acute
onset confusion, memory loss
- Active
psychiatric disorder with potential to interfere with
treatement of serious medical condition
- Suicidal
depresion
- Failure
of outpatient program
- Severe
deterioration of level functioning
CD
Unit
- Alcohol
or drug dependency
- Unable
to function or care for self
- DUI/Public
intoxication charges
- History
of alcohol or drug seizures
- History
of work loss or injuries
- Failure
of outpatient program
Senior
Care Unit
This
service is focused on providing services for seniors who
are experiencing depression, displaying aggressive combative
behavior, medication evaluation/adjustments and life-threatening
behavior. A multi-disciplinary team conducts a complete
evaluation and a treatment plan is started on admission.
The treatment goals are to work towards the patient's discharge
to the most suitable environment. During the patient's stay,
the treatment team works with the patient's primary care
physician, family members, and assisted living/nursing home
facilities. The program services are:

Dependency Unit
Addiction
is a disease that is chronic, progressive and can be fatal,
but it can be succesfully treated. Due to its progressive
nature, early intervention by professionals is crucial.
Our service is abrief rehab that offers the following:
- Detox
- Individual/Group
Therapy
- Occupational
& Recreational Therapy
- Discharge

Emergency
Consultation Services
A psychiatric
episode or event cannot be planned for, or predicted, and
because these events cannot be easily managed, an Emergency
Consultation Service is available. The Emergency Consultation
Services (ECS) is available 24 hours a day,, 7 days a week.
Financial
counseling and insurance verification is provided through
our office. Referrals may be initiated by calling 1
